Dooney & Bourke | It's a Small World Tote | REVIEW

Happy Spring!

This is my favorite time of year when Florida weather feels glorious with chilly mornings and perfectly sunny afternoons. Although this amazing weather is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean the spring vibes have to end! This spring season has been extra special because Disney blessed us all with the new It’s a Small World Dooney and Bourke Collection!

I have had my eye on Dooney and Bourke’s Disney bags for years now but have never found a collection or pattern that I was willing to drop the $$$ on. When it comes to Disney style, I love subtle accents of Disney so that I can wear and use accessories even when I’m outside the parks. Mark and I took a late night trip to Magic Kingdom recently and I walked into the Main Street shops and saw that this Small World bag collection had just released. OMG…. let me tell you I was in LOVE and I knew I had to get something from this insanely cute collection! This pattern is absolutely adorable and I love how the design is so minimal. The pastels match with almost any outfit and the colors really add happiness to my day!

Thank you to my lovely hand model and amazing sister, Katie!

When deciding on which size I should get from collection, I was in the market for a larger bag I could take to work after college that was big enough to carry essentials, a camera, lens, and even my laptop. (Bottom line is that I basically needed a Mary Poppins bag that can magically hold anything)

I came across this tote size and I couldn’t have asked for a better bag! The bag is tall enough to fit my 13 inch laptop perfectly, comfortably fits a DSLR camera and small lens. It does it all. The inside has many pockets and a large middle pouch with a zipper.

Below is the link so you can shop this bag! Remember, if you’re in the parks, you can get an AP discount which actually saved me about $70!

How to get Disney Parks Merch for UNDER $10

©abigailnilsson-21.jpg

Hi Everyone!

I've been waiting to make this post for several months now and can't wait to share these amazing deals I found recently! As you know, merch in the Disney parks can be kind of pricy. When I'm not in the parks, you can find me thrifting and hunting down the best deals! In today's post, I am sharing a solution to pricy park merch!

If you're an Orlando native or Disney enthusiast, you've probably heard of the Disney Character Warehouse or Character Outlet. The warehouse has two locations just outside of Disney property. This is where all the overstock and seasonally outdated Disney items (such as Christmas/Halloween things) go. Shopping here is an awesome way to fulfill your Disney craving with HUGE savings! Most items are 25-50% off original price and sometimes even more.

Most often times the merch is from Walt Disney World and Disneyland however, they just got in a massive shipment from Shanghai Disney! *GASP*

Hope you enjoy this special haul from the Character Warehouse!

Here's an over all view of the haul from Shanghai! I'm always thrilled when I get little pieces from the amazing variety of merch Asia has to offer!

Dumbo Notepad Set- Warehouse Price $1.99

Shanghai has a plush collection called Garden of the Friends and it features the Chinese Zodiac animals through Disney characters! I was IN LOVE when I saw this baby Abu because his arms and legs are tiny and dangling and he is so soft! (I also picked up the baby Maximus which you can see in the first over view photo. Both were $4.99)

Also from the Shanghai collection, I picked up two adorable green aliens! Because life is better with these little guys in your home! The one on the left is ceramic and when you take his head off it's a candy jar. (He was $6.99) The right alien is a plush (that I believe they currently sell at Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom) and I couldn't resist getting him! (He was $8.99)

Next is probably my favorite purchase from the haul. This adorable Mr. Potato head tote bag! Although I am reaching 'Disney bag hoarder' status, this is the cutest bag yet and I carry it to class everyday. Can't wait to carry this around at Toy Story Land and Pixar Pier this summer!!

Last but definitely not least, is the Neverland kitchen haul! You might remember seeing this set at the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs and if you're like me, you've been drooling over it ever since it came out. I never thought this collection would hit the warehouse but my dreams came true I got almost the ENTIRE set for only $30! I think it's safe to say this set was way over $100 originally. SCORE!

Neverland Bowl set of 3 (left)- Warehouse Price $11.99

Neverland Dessert plates (right)- Warehouse Price $4.99

Neverland Cloth Placemats (above)- Warehouse Price $3.99 ea.
